DEAR PASTORATE 26 FAMILY,
Praised be Jesus Christ! The Finance Councils, my staff, and I present to you the financial and statistical report for our fiscal year ending June 30, 2023. Please pick up a copy in the back of church after Holy Mass. First of all, a word of thanksgiving to so many of you who faithfully, generously, sacrificially, and joyfully model stewardship at Pastorate 26; thank you for demonstrating what it means to follow the Lord Jesus in terms of time, talent, and treasure. Our mission from the Lord is to “go make disciples of all nations.” Jesus set the world on fire, and that blaze goes on even today, evidenced by you. Each of us, touched by Christ Jesus, respond to him and so become part of the story of salvation. This year, we embarked on the Into the Deep transition to realign resources so that we can better accomplish and live out our mission, both now and for generations to come. On behalf of Fr. Van Wagner and Fr. Foley, we are humbled and grateful to be shepherding Pastorate 26, which includes Christ the King, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and Saint Patrick. We are here at this point in history, in the pastorate for a purpose and mission from our Lord. I am humbled to be your co-worker in the Lord’s vineyard. Again, thank you does not seem adequate to express my appreciation for your witness to Jesus. It is my honor and joy to work with you in this pastorate and each of our church locations: Christ the King Church, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church & School, and St. Patrick Catholic Church. Our pastorate orbits around the Altar of Jesus Christ at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, where I call to mind you, your families, and your deepest petitions. Remembering you all at Jesus’ altar,
Fr. Chad M. Droessler
