Music

Lead the congregation in music for the celebration of Holy Mass. Our various groups require the time and talent of many people including instrumentalists and singers. New members are always welcome, no need to be a professional musician. Rehearsals are held weekly, September through May.

7:30am Adult Choir – Immaculate Heart of Mary

Rehearsals are held Thursdays. Repertoire includes chant, traditional hymns, and 3 or 4 part octavos.

9:00am Adult Choir – Christ the King

Our repertoire ranges from traditional hymnody to Gather pieces.

10:30am Adult Choir - Immaculate Heart of Mary

Rehearsals are also held on Thursdays and mirror the 7:30am repertoire. (Stella Maris Adult Choirs combine their offerings for feast days).

Stella Maris Children’s Choir

Open to children from kindergarten through eighth grade, we hope to instill in our youngest congregants a deep love of singing for Holy Mass. 

Teen Adoration Choir 

Provides contemporary and traditional Catholic music for our Adoration hours. Members in middle and high school are welcome to join.

Outreach Choir 

A casual, fun choir that meets throughout summer and fall. Our repertoire ranges from sacred to patriotic, 50's and 60's to Broadway and Disco! We prepare a 20-25 minute program that we perform at local assisted living communities. All are welcome!

We are now able to offer individual voice lessons for members of Stella Maris Parish who are interested in learning more about their voice and how to use it effectively and healthfully to glorify God.
