TO THE FAITHFUL OF OUR PASTORATE,
Every year, the Endowment Fund Board convenes to approve grants supporting
religious education. I extend my appreciation to the board members for their commitment and effort in overseeing the grant approval process. And sincere thanks to the donors whose contributions helped fund important evangelization efforts. At the April meeting, approved grants totaled over $54,000! This funding is vital for running our school and faith formation programs, enabling us to carry out our mission to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations.” The Endowment Fund is intended to last indefinitely. Gifts to the fund are invested and never spent. As the market grows over time, gifts to the fund grow and provide earnings that can be used for current needs and ongoing initiatives.
You can find endowment details at pastorate26.com/endowment along with a link for online gift giving. Please consider supporting our endowment fund in your bequests, memorials, and celebrations.
Blessings this Mother’s Day weekend,
Fr. Chad M. Droessler

Saturday Morning Mass Change on May 18
There will not be a Saturday 9am Mass on May 18. The Office of Hispanic Ministry is hosting a Marian Festival to honor the different Hispanic Marian devotions. Holy Mass in Spanish will be celebrated by Bishop Hying at 10am.
Mother’s Day Rose Project
On Mother's Day weekend, May 11/12, give generously for roses so that others may choose life, knowing that there is a community surrounding them with love. The suggested donation is $3 a rose, but each extra dollar goes a long way. Wisconsin Right to Life - Dane County is completely volunteer driven and all donations go to the mission to save lives.
SVdP Clothing Drive
The St. Vincent de Paul spring/summer clothing drive is scheduled for the weekend of June 8/9. Donation bags will be handed out after all Masses at IHM, SP and CTK on June 1/2. Bags with your donations (clothing, shoes, accessories and linens) can be brought back the following weekend, June 8/9. Volunteers will be available in the parking lots of each church to accept your donations. This is a great chance to clean out your closets before summer. Thank you in advance for your support.
Shrine Votive Candles
Place your prayer requests before the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the channel through which our Lord bestows graces and dispenses blessings. One way to seek the intercession of Mary is by lighting one or more of the 17 votive candles surrounding the shrine statue of Our Lady of the Green Scapular.
Garden Angels
Please sign up to water church flowers during the summer here.
Cancer Group Meeting
May 13, 5:30-7:30pm at SP parish office. All meetings are on our website calendar.
